| Abstract | The essence of culture of safety concept is considered in the article. The question of the introduction of this concept and disclosing of essential features is debatable. Nearly 90% authors refer the creation of culture of safety concept to 1986 (INSAG-1) though the “culture of safety” phrase is only used for the first time in the first magazine issue published by the International consultative group of nuclear safety. The object of present research is formation of the concept for half a century nuclear power development, the comparative analysis of approaches to culture of safety definition and further projects on improvement of the conception. |
