AbstractThe analysis of the reasons of jamming and rods breaking of pipeline motorized fittings, which can lead to valves refusals operated as a part of responsible technological systems of the nuclear branch enterprises is presented in article. The clutch failure to function of the torque restriction and fatigue cracks in the valve attachment is the additional factor promoting collapse of a rod. Planning of actions for an exception of breaking and rods jamming assumes prevention of thermopressure testing, the organization of bypass, clutches control of torque restriction, the organization of works on control of a drive gear of fittings by means of the specialized stand of lock fastening. During fittings operation of the fittings it is expedient to collect statistical information about the failures and defects of the fittings for determining of its reliability, maintainability and restorability to develop and justify priorities in the planning and carrying out actions to improve the reliability of the fittings.
