AbstractIn this article the approach to equipment diagnosis in terms of the theory of detection, evaluation and modulation of defects in vibroacoustic signal is considered. The results of experimental studies of detection probability of bearings defects by vibroacoustic method are given. The possible options of application of the theory of detection, evaluation and modulation in diagnostic systems are offered.
